Wonderful revelatory session on the Great tribulation or 'constriction'. Thanks Simon and Chris! I loved the analogies used to describe the tribulation. Tribulation is good for us and works out God's purposes in our lives. We need Jesus and the ark of His Word and the Holy spirit to carry us through. It's sad that the church has been deceived by the doctrine of the Pre-trib rapture. The Lord is faithful and will keep us through the tribulation and we will emerge victorious if we are faithful. God is a greater enemy to the forces of evil than they are to us. "I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one, " (John 17:15).

Yes suffice to say a time of great trouble coming to the world, and a time of great affliction, Jesus quoting from Daniel ch 11 and 12, these two being one book along with Daniel ch 10 -

Daniel 11:31
King James Version
31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Daniel 12
King James Version
12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Its so important that we understand Daniel ch 11 in particular, this talking of the great tribulation and pointing to a Great War that breaks out between the king of the north and the the king of the south, the man of sin and antichrist being the king of the north here. So really it will be a time of great trouble, a time of great affliction and yes a time of great restriction for the saints as they take sides with neither the king of the north or the king of the south but instead stay true to Jesus Christ.
