Just because people are friends, that doesn't mean that they know about everything going on, in that other person's life. I was" friends" with someone for 20 years but when we split up, I discovered that the guy was as phony as a $3 bill. They can hide temporarily but God will eventually bring the truth out.

I have heard of Lawson before all this, as most have but never followed or listened to him, I agree with you it does seem that a whole lot of Christians tend to put certain teachers on a pedestal, which is a big mistake, and I really don't understand it.

Ravi Zacharias, Tony Evans, Steve Lawson. The common denominator is time away from their spouses and the spark that lights the fire of sin. We as sponge like people place these men up on a pedestals like a golden idol. Thinking that every word they utter out of their mouths is like that of Jesus himself. It even happens in the local church. Whatever the Pastor says to do, people do. Like a bunch of dumb sheep led to the slaughter. Get out the Word, read the word, study the word, and live the word. One day you'll stand before the King if Kings and Lord of Lords and give an account for your life.
