Dominic West Takes on New Role as Auctioneer for Charity Wine Sale at Hospices de Beaune | Sotheby's

This year, Dominic West, renowned actor who has starred in shows such as Netflix's 'The Crown' and HBO's 'The Wire', takes up the gavel to auctioneer at the annual Hospices de Beaune wine auction in the south of France. Dominic will auction the star lot of the sale, the Pièce des Présidents, also known as Pièce de Charité.

The 164th Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction takes place at the Halles de Beaune on 17 November 2024, as is tradition, on the third Sunday in November. This is the world’s oldest charity auction and most renowned wine auction.
