One day, Mark got into his car and drove off without realizing that Max was following him. The little puppy ran after the car, his small legs struggling to keep up with the speeding vehicle. He barked and whined, desperate to catch up with his beloved owner.

Another abusive owner allowing his own interests to prevail in a moment not realizing the recipient (the dog) was the one who was most hurt. It turned out well in the end however. With the hope the separation of the two would NEVER happen again.
