I just groomed a big ginger tom last week that was even bigger/fatter and had a perfectly flat persian face. Perfect incarnation of Garfield! He got a lion cut too

This was a perfect kitty to do a lion cut on. The coloring is that if a lion. I give u lots of props as this has to be a difficult job. I one had to cut a few chunks of matted hair out of my long hair kitty and struggled so I can’t imagine tryin to do a full groom on a kitty.

This looks much better than the butcher job I just saw a person do on their cat.. and they called it a lions cut! If they’re doing it for the cat to stay cool they just didn’t get it short enough and made her look sad

We had a cat Mr. Meows he was a big hairy Siamese mix cat we got him the lion cut every summer. They love it. Imagine how hot they must feel on hot summer days? Poor kitty.
