Thank you very much for the lovely feedback. I just want to point out a few things, as this has been asked a few times. The reason it does not go below 1 kHz or above 8 kHz is that the Q value is extremely narrow to target the most problematic resonances. The human ear is very sensitive to phase shifts below 800 Hz, and this type of processing can flip the phase, causing smearing, significant post-ringing, and various other side effects. Above 8 kHz, even the narrowest Q value can affect a wider frequency range and impact clarity. We cannot use linear-phase processing in this case, as it would introduce severe pre-ringing. For frequencies below 1 kHz or above 8 kHz, a different type of processing is required. The best practice is to identify and remove the most dominant, problematic, and consistent resonances to achieve greater clarity in the audio source. I love this plugin. Does a great job on single nagging frequencies but I did email them and say they should go down to 200Hz. Works great on electric guitars.

Cool. I bought this right when it was published after demoing it for about 30 sec. Even though it was scorned by some reviewers back then, I ended up using it a lot, especially with eguitars and synth leads. A few things that are worth mentioning about this plug-in. First, when it boosts the frequency, it actually doesn’t boost above the audio, it boosts in the audio, you’re listening to the audio at the normal volume and it places the frequency inside that. Second, when you turn listen on and off, and actually test your ear and let you hear whether the frequency you thought was there was real or not. You’ll know because if you turn on listen and you’re searching and you think you find something, and then you turn off listen, if the frequencies not there, then you didn’t actually find it. If you turn off and you still hear the frequency in the sound, you know you’ve got it. So it’s a great way of actually finding real resonant frequencies without being fooled. The other thing is, it’s great at training your ear to hear these frequencies and so you get better at finding them. I’ve used the tool to sweep and find frequencies, and sometimes I find them, but other times I don’t and then I know that the audio is clear of any resonant frequencies. But when you find them, they really stand out. It’s like once you hear it you can’t unhear it.

It's literally just an EQ, but for some reason it works really well for me, maybe it's the way it's laid out, I haven't got a clue, but it's so quick to track down horrible stuff and kill it.
One thing that is blatantly obvious is that you rarely get a track with just one resonance in, there are usually a few, so you find yourself having to insert 4 or 5 or 6 copies of the plugin on the same track which is a bit annoying, they should do a version where you can dial in several frequencies.

Apart from the 1k thing, this should also be able to fix a few frequencies with one plugin and not have to use a few instances of the same plugin on one channel ... But its still a great plugin, use it very often.. Great review guys...

Despite having DSEQ3 and SpecCraft I picked this up for under a tenner in a sale and I have to say that it does one thing very well. It's not a replacement for anything else but if you just have one nasty resonance to squash (think distorted guitars) then it's quick and easy.

Love this one too, way more efficient to remove resonance and keeping agression on a guitar tone. Screw soothe haha
When I'm not sure I keep an eye on the output, if it's a resonance it jumps out

I personal prefer the white noise as long as it's not loud... with the silence I get disorientated "what's happening, of right" where with white noise it's telling me that is happening I hold fire instantly... but, if that white noise is loud, the company stands the risk of me telling that plug to fuck off lol
