I left almost one month ago… i feel free to listen to the music i like without being shamed, i am applying for jobs that i would love to do, without him not letting me because “i might work with other men”, i eat what I enjoy and not just cook what he likes to eat… I escaped with no money and a toddler (thanks to my family that paid my ticket and provide for me until i find a job). I enjoy my freedom from his control, i don’t care if I am broke, i lost all the material comfort i was in, but i feel like i won. I am so sad and my heart is broken because i truly loved him, but I am confident for my future.
I wanted to commit suicide when i was with him, he kicked me, he threatened me with a knife … he never apologised for his behaviour. He also told me that I am lucky he didn’t stabbed me with the knife….

My freedom today is the narcissist karma. I am not going back and I will not engage with him anymore ❤️
