Hardware Cloth: How I Stretched and Attached

How I stretched and attached Hardware Cloth. Maybe there's an easier way, but this method worked great for my purpose.
Note: I flipped the piece over so that the "curved side" is facing outward... I did not do this on my first attempt and I found that the Cloth tended to "bow" inward.
I used an air powered staple gun; 1 inch staples, no more than 80psi. My cloth is 19gauge. Screw the screws into the yard stick far enough so you can easily insert the screws thru the cloth and then screw the yardstick snug into the other piece of wood. My pieces are 4-5 inches longer than the area I intend to cover.

I love how people figure out really interesting ways to problem solve when building. That was so clever!

So maybe buy a board and put metal screw hooks on it for doing several panels. I am about to do a 30 foot porch. We raise turkey/chicken and we are tired of them being on the porch and pooping everywhere. I am about to do a pony wall with hardware cloth panels above it.
