Dodgers pull Pride Night invitation from The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence after objections

Following public outcry and criticism from a number of Catholic groups, the Los Angeles Dodgers have opted to withdraw an invitation that they previously extended to The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a local organization that has been accused of mocking Christianity. Jasmine Viel reports.

The left for the most part seems to think this comes from an external source -from other people being judgmental, whereas most of the right thinks this comes from an internal source -your conscience. So the left's solution is to quiet those they think are the cause of guilt, stigma and shame, whereas the right's solution is to change your behaviors, so you are in line with your conscience.

Yes, you can say whatever you want. That isn’t the issue here and you damage your message by expressing the opinion that “you just say what we want.” The issue here is a private entity supporting this group’s speech which is offensive to most people. Yes they have the right. We have the right to deprive them of our money in response. Money talks and it’s language is universal.
