Here's one I have on my island: Fishing spot. There's a funny little 3x2 area off one of my paths by the river, so I stuck a folding chair, a flimsy fishing rod, a radio, and a little picnic basket there, and it makes me smile every time I walk by.

this is so helpful! i keep making all these small areas and thinking they don't quite look right, . seeing them all blended with other areas on your islands makes me think i just have to trust that it will look less awkward when everything is done.

Just fyi, if anyone is interested, there is a difference between cocoa and cacao besides the spelling. Cacao is the raw, unprocessed form of cocoa. People with allergies can usually eat cacao AND dogs can eat it, but dogs cannot have cocoa. Kinda interesting.

I like doing lavender farms as they look cute with the beehives and the purple hyacinth is good to have stocks of for crafting

Also, I have started using that pig money box and pretending it is a little micro pig. Looks cute near a farm area or on the dark natural path so it’s like wallowing in mud. 😂🐷

i made a post office for mine! it helps my morning walk and break up all the space on my island 💜✨ and a main st shopping district with bookshelves and panels

l would love to see how you make your waterfalls and terraforming with bridges and stairs. I struggle with the terraforming and then I never get to decorating my island because I feel like I can never get the basics right. Once I get that I love the decorating part. I did love the Tom’s Nook with the trucks doing deliveries. That is cool. Maybe I will try this and add a food truck area as well near a farmers market.

When you decorate the islands and use up all the space and spread the buildings around it really does make your island just look bigger!

Also, the way you arranged those Stone Fences on the Northeast Beach makes them look like unearthed ruins! Very neat.
