My take on the gender results with the blood test!

I was never given the choice to get that screening during my third pregnancy and didn’t know it existed so I didn’t ask. I found out my daughter has Down Syndrome when she was born and the doctors made it seem like she was dying with the way they delivered the news. But all I cared about was if she was healthy, breathing, and alive since I’d had 2 miscarriages before her and she was born at 37 weeks and under 5 pounds. She’s the most joyful and healthy 1 year old now and I couldn’t be happier to have her in my life.

In Canada, we have to pay for NIPT if we're low risk .. it's like $700 😳 instead, I did the free eFTS and if that comes back high risk then the NIPT is free. My last one was low risk so I never got the NIPT.. 🤷‍♀️ so no gender under the anatomy scan

I got it done in 10 weeks & it is a low risk pregnancy & a girl ❤

My brother and his girlfriend smoked weed so when she took the blood test and all that they said there was a chance that my niece could have down syndrome luckily she does not

I got my blood work done April 3 2025 and my blood test did not come back yet and I am waiting for it and I am 4 months pregnant

My test came back low risk and girl! It did say fetal fraction 5.4% what does that mean? Am I really having a girl?
