Alex is just everything:amazing songwriter, great singer (while playing guitar). He changes his style just to properly express the mood of the recent album ( although each am fan has his/her own favorite Alex’s hairstyle and considers it to be the only one legit). I personally think Alex is amazing and we do not deserve him:) not with all of those disappointed comments about his looks, about the new album, etc
