Lava can crystalize when it gets under 1300°C. it makes sense. the airbending of aang cooled the magma and made it crystalize. or it couldve been waterbending maybe.

I've read the story this comic is based on. It's so good. And yes, Aang was pulled over from the original timeline into this one after he failed to beat Ozai during Sozin's comet.

Azula = Katara
Sokka = Zuko
Katara = Azula
Dakoda (Sokka’s dad) = Fire lord Ozai
Gran-Gran (Sokka and Katara’s Grandma) = Uncle/General Iroh
