I remember with this little rhyme.

How you feel or where you are, always use the verb estar.

Always helped me.

Isn’t there an “ e “ missing in the word interesante ? On the screen it’s written as “ intersante “

“Ser” means “to be” when the main point of a sentence is supposed to indicate sitting. “Estar” means “to be” when the main point is meant to indicate standing.

The example began with estar and ser (to be) but none of the examples used these terms. So really, what is the connection usage of estar and ser with esta and es which were the two words actually used in the examples? ie what does "to be" have to do with "is"?

Bored and boring are supposed to have the same 'to be' they're both characteristics
But I like when google translated them right

So, '¿de donde eres?' makes sense, because it's not about one's location, but one's identity? Or did I just say something really funny? 😁
