good thing Wenwu wasn't the Mandarin in Iron Man 3. he'd tear Stark apart. now i'm glad that IM3, the Mandarin was just Trevor playing a role for A.I.M. 🤣

Seeing Wenwu fight like this makes me wish for a What If episode where he fights Tony Stark in an alternate take of Iron Man 3.

I always wondered how Shang could keep up with his dad’s mastery of the rings at first with just a staff despite all the training since he’s outclassed in experience. Dope seen

How they managed to convince Tony Leung to play Wenwu is still a mystery but damn am I proud they did some well know hardcore Chinese Celebrities being introduced to the United States truly became on hell of a defining moment for Asians and its about time they were given their shot to shine.

I love how Shag Chi got all cocky and gangsta then his dad was like. I was being nice but now you are out of line and smacked the shit outta him really shows how even though they were fighting till he said those hurtfulwords his father was still companisionate towards his son only blocking without intent of harm then when shit hit the fan we got to see a taste of the warlord

This movie in my opinion is the coolest ever. Took me a year until I watched it and I never regret it. 😎🥰

I’m so used to seeing Tony Leung in Wong Kar Wai films, hearing him speak English is still strange. All the better that he’s such a great actor, and that his character was an excellent tragic villain.

Wenwu is badass. Definitely one of the best Villains in the MCU, maybe top 5.

Those that felt he blame sang chi he didn't do anything eventhough he was a young boy, can tap into the amazing realism build into family dynamics here. After all, he didn't mention a word about this all these years and even brought him to revenge remember? It's only when his son is now stopping him from the hope of bringing her back after all these heartache that he threw that sentence to blame him (implying the son couldn't help back then, didn't help and not helping now as well). A lot to unpack here with that exclamation to your own son in that moment.

Tony Leung nails Wenwu's cocktail of emotions.
