It really is crazy that kids have to say "we didn't ask to be born" for a supposed adult to try and understand that having a kid is their choice and thus their own fault for the years of cost and work that goes into raising kids.

A "parent" calculating how much a child owes them for being born and raised is not a parent. They're a tyrant.

I've heard that the random touching also happens to pregnant women. It's so crazy how because there's something different, people feel entitled to touch strangers without their consent or just talking to them first! When I first saw my future sister in law after she and my brother got engaged, I asked to see the ring. I've known her for a few years, she's going to be part of my family, and I still didn't grab her hand.

I work at a vet and we have a client who has rescued so many dogs over the years that she's started naming them things like "Why Not" or "What"-short for "What The Hell". It cracks me up when she calls to make appts for them. I can't wait to see what she comes up with for the next rescue.

My cat went missing for a couple weeks this summer. I alerted all the neighbours on our local Facebook page...and a local Karen said no wonder he ran away because of his name. He's called Buttface.
My response was "He's a cat! He doesn't care what his name is!"
Turns out he'd found an old ladies house with a cat flap n was visiting her 😅

$700k is about average for raising a kid to 18 in the US. But that does include literally everything from pregnancy expenses to a home with more bedrooms. Considering mom likely didn't repay her parents for raising her, she really is trying to benefit from all sides. Good on them for getting out of that house.

Charging your child for what they cost over time is ridiculous! No child asks to be born. Basically everything Roly said. On top of that, I’m sure that mother expected at least of her children to take care of her in her old age… unhinged.

If anyone said I should pretend to kidnap their screaming child, I'd be like, "why would I want a kid acting like THAT? Your problem." Hate to break it to that mom, all of us with children will at some point carry a child, kicking and screaming out of a public place.

The story of the kid wanting to see the tattoo would have been such a good moment to work on consent instead of teaching the kid to just randomly touch folks because they want to.
I remember the first guy I ever saw with a lot of piercings. I was fascinated and my mom guided me through going over to compliment him. He got the biggest grin and enthusiastically told me about all his piercings. It was a really good experience and learning moment for me and he seemed really happy to get to share that. Not to say that everyone has to react like that, but there were so many ways to turn that story (in video) into a positive interaction for everyone.

The inappropriate touching of a pregnant belly is unreal. Complete strangers think they have the right to rub your belly without asking.
I used to wear a t-shirt saying 'touch the belly at your own peril', 'Hands off the belly', 'you didn't make it so don't touch it' and 'use your eyes not your hands

I really don’t understand why some people think they can manhandle others like that. Wtf?!
Where have manners, respect, asking permission, personal space and common decency gone?! SMH.

That horrible woman probably runs over and pets dogs without permission too. Then one day she gets bit… she freaks out, the dog gets murdered, the owner is devastated and then gets the bill to pay the entitled “victim” who put herself in the position!!

And they don’t need a license to breed! Why the F not?!
