I still remember the 10-minute T-Rex scene in the original, and how much effort was put to that gigantic animatronic. While it was raining, they had to clean the Rex every 5 minutes to not soak up. All that effort to that small scene just makes me think how confident Spielberg was into that fantastic project. Though they did bring back an animatronic Rex in this movie, it was sitting down the whole time for a 5 minute long scene to simply retrieve blood.

I’m not against CGI. I do think some amazing things come out of it, but there’s something truly special when creature creators make incredibly lifelike animatronics.

The eyes opening is so realistic and beautiful. It’s actually amazing what people can make practically.

They do so much hardwork just to entertain us.
Just a clap for these legends.

I am so glad they used both practical effects _and_ CGI together ❤ I don't see many movies doing that anymore.

The patience, practice, and hard work of actors, engineers, pupeteers, and CGI crews is admirable beyond words!!

The person who controled the indoraptor, was the luckiest person of the world

This movie had such a good plot, and the way it was presented was descent. The intro, the end, and the scenes with the indo (like the auction) were all really good. Kinda underrated, really liked it

To this day I still think that the indoraptor is one of, if not the scariest dinosaur in the franchise

You just gotta appreciate the effort made in the making of this movie! Some people say it's bad and all that, but it's not so easy to bring a dinosaur into live-action. If you think of how well they acted in the dinosaur scenes, this movie was great.

0:05 The Indoraptor's like 'Oooh what conditioner do *YOU* use?!'

Edit: thnx for likes!! Can you Sub, or something. I make (I think) funny Animal videos with my lizard.

I'm so happy to know that they still use animatronics in these types of movies! The puppets were so realistic

I would’ve been so childish and used it to throw a Jurassic Middle Finger

These actors were so good enough to make us believe that they really see those dinosaurs. Bruh, If I was one of them I may burst out laughing and couldn't show the appropriate emotion needed. Salute to all the efforts they made to entertain us. But I'm curious how did they do the "croc like dinosaur" from the water, I forgot what it's called.

There needs to be a special award in Oscar for stuntmen and 3d cast like this!

Man! This stuff behind the scenes is just as captivating and mind-blowing as the movie, itself !!! I would love to know how to do this stuff! When you stop to think about the complexity of the entire process involved, you've got to admit... these guys and their creative ingenuity have literally brought dinosaurs back to life! Forget what they might be made of inside or how they're actually created - whether by CGI or by physically-operated machines or puppetry - they become living, breathing creatures on screen!

I appreciate the use of effects for this movie at least. Using real motion then cgi to touch it up is always the most realistic resulting product!!! The difference between those scenes and fully cgi scenes is obvious because of how much better they work together.
