Bro, the Indorapter was terrifying because it's a smaller, almost as strong, faster, smarter Indominous combined with the intelligence and size of a raptor. Add with that an evil demeanor, and that's what made it scary. It literally SMILED before it ate the dude.

i agree with your "with intent: theory. if you rewatch the clip where the indoraptor fakes getting tranquilized, honest to God, it smiles before it bites the guy.

One interesting note I heard someone bring up in relation to the Indo and Blue. Is that if you watch the first Jurassic World, Blue signals the other raptors with a claw tap to the ground, they form up right after she does that.
Which this person then mentioned you see the Indoraptor in this movie tap its claw on the when it enters Maize's bedroom. This unintentionally signaled Blue and let her know exactly where the Indo was.

The worker dying at the jaws of the Indoraptor would explain the skull in the small leaked images of it - would have loved the 40 minutes they cut to be included somehow!!

I would like to say that the Indoraptor had an incredible weak sense of smell. Probably something that occurred, when mixing too many DNA of animals with the Indoraptor. The Indoraptor is a mix of the Indominus Rex, and Velociraptor after all. There are many scenes in the movie that show the Indoraptor struggling to locate its prey with smell. While, it did seem to combat that disadvantage with its echolocation abilities.

You know...when I heard about the Indoraptor, I was like, "Yeah, create the indominus, tortured, vengeful, etc...only make it the size of a raptor. That won't end badly."
But you know, I was wrong. Somehow, they made it so, so much more horrifying. Great job, Wu.

Indoraptor was so smart it could break the 4th wall

He probably didn't need to splice in Human DNA to achieve empathy or malice. Just Crisper up some bigger more intelligent brains and they would probably develop those traits on their own.

Just a mild continuity error. You said Wu wanted to inject Blue's DNA into the current Indoraptor. He didn't want to do that. The Indoraptor in the film was just a prototype. He wanted to make another WITH Blue's DNA thrown into the mix. The prototype would've likely been destroyed if that attempt was successful.

You know that coughing sound like they use to call for help or the " hey prey over here" well when I was 6 I got a bad case of whooping cough I was able to make that sound every cough and my little brother 4 at the time was scared as hell of the raptors so I would hide and make the sound making him cry and freak him out yelling " dinosaurs are after me" hahahaha I'm going to hell aren't I 😁

I’ve got a theory: the tranquilliser darts while not sedating the Indoraptor they may have slowed down its abilities and that’s what caused its demise, when you are intoxicated you don’t think rationally, when Claire shone the red laser at Owen causing the Indoraptor to lunge at Owen causing it to fall through the glass roof and die it was not thinking clearly despite almost falling through just seconds ago, makes me wonder how formidable it could’ve been if it didn’t get tranqued

Fun fact: The shot of the Indoraptor climbing down to the balcony entrance to Maisie’s room was based of a scene from Dracula (1979) in which he climbed into a room the same way.
