If anyone is wondering why they didn't win its because two main reasons.
1) Mickey, isn't considered a singing song its a cheer song
2) Safety violations, while the cannon went correctly they take points off for any risk of students.

Sue finally got to shoot someone out of a canon. This was beautiful and i felt like it was always meant to happen. Sue leading vocal adrenaline....why didn't they do this earlier!?

Sue is so brilliant. She knew exactly what would happen: VA would think that they would win with this while she scared the hell out of the ND. Only she knew that there is no way VA could win with Mickey. Also, she finally got the chance to shoot someone out of a canon :D

The perfect example of spectacle at the expense of talent. The choreography was amazing, but New Directions had the better singers.

Let's be fair: New Directions may have the protagonists, but Vocal Adrenaline always steals the spotlight. All the times! From season 1 to 6.

The “lead” male and female singers at 0:22 didn’t do the flip. They faked it off. And you can tell they weren’t supposed to. They played it like a real dancer would live and went with it. Lol. Just noticed it.
