Thank you for making the video! I appreciate your thoughts and comparisons. I've used the Sony 16-35 f4 a lot for RE, and I also use the Laowa 12mm f2.8. I've kept one lens on one body and the other on another. I like to use the 16-35 as much as possible, but I frequently find myself switching to the 12mm when 16mm isn't quite wide enough. With that in mind, I just ordered the Sony 12-24 f4. I may not always need to go all the way to 12mm, but even having the option of 14-15mm will be very helpful, and not having to frequently switch cameras will make shoots much more efficient. I'll probably keep a 24-70 on the second body for detail shots, but I doubt I'll need to use that as often as I've switched between the 16-35 and 12mm.

For video, I agree that fast panning with a 12mm looks pretty crazy. However, straight push-ins can simply look wide and impressive. Also, using 12mm with 4K can leave room for doing a fake shift in post.

Mike, just pulled the trigger on the GM based on your video. I have been shooting the Zeiss for years, and about had it dealing with the LOCA and flares in post. Great vid... found it at the perfect time

Have you tried the Sigma 14-24 2.8? Its my widest lens that I bought specifically to get into real estate photography, just not sure how it stacks up.

Not sure if you have any time with the Sony 12-24 f2.8 and if you did, would you choose that over the Sony 16-35 f2.8? Interested in RE photography and looking for my next lens. Thanks.

Thanks for the video! Lots of great information. I am just starting out and I got a sony a6400, bc it's an aps-c sensor, I purchased the Laowa 9mm f2.8 to go with it, but I find it's not great with real estate for video, the image has visible noise even with ISO 400 and f2.8. Neither the camera or the lens have image stabilization. I was thinking of switching to the sony 10-18 mm f4 which also has stabilization. In your opinion would that be a better option? I need a wide angle lens for both photo and video, and since I'm just starting out, budget is a big consideration. If you could make a video for beginners like me about best lens on an aps-c camera, that would be awesome! I do have a dji Ronin SC for videos. I have been struggling with this and I would immensely appreciate your opinion. Thank you!

If 16-35mm is your main go to lens.. what do you usually shoot video at? Because i was thinking of investing in a 14mm Rokinon for the wide room shots and a Sony 35mm for the video and tighter shots.. or will i need something in the 24-28mm range? thanks!

Hi.
First thank you for your tutorials. I love them, they help me greatly in learning architecture and interior fotography. I have a question:
Do you also use tilt shift lenses.? I am a nikon photographer and i am thinking of buying a second hand ts lens.
Greetings

I have a Sony A7III and a Sigma 24-70mm lens ... my question is can I use these two tools alone to take a complete gallery of a property? or should I get a prime lens to get a wider focal length as well? If so, which lens should I get? My budget is very limited. Thanks so much for your time.
