Power Automate Copilot Tutorial: Workflow Automation using Natural Language

In this fun tutorial I show you how to use Copilot for Power Automate to build a notification flow (when a form is submitted from Microsoft Forms, send a Teams notification) using Copilot - describe your flow in natural language to build it. I also show how to switch back to the old designer for some troubleshooting.

I tend to save after editing each action, then again the whole flow when I'm finished. I'm going to have a play, thanks Lisa. It might help me debug some longer, more complex flows, by seeing which components co-pilot chooses over the ones I have chosen, because as you know there are sometimes more than 1 way to write a flow to achieve the same task. ❤

Another great vid, Lisa! The new flow interface along with copilot assistance looks like a major improvement for flow design.
I have seen that same issue you had with the rich text editor not holding the location variable before in both the current flow designer and even back in the old workflow manager. I found that using shift+enter for a full line break between each line with variable output overcame that random anomaly.

Lisa, I know in my experience with Copilot there were times where the designer _did_ walk you through configuring the trigger and actions (reference comment at 3:05). It seems hit or miss when the maker is presented those options. But looks like Microsoft is planning to include configuration of each action and trigger as part of the Copilot creation process.

Hi, nice video 👍🏼 Can you help me? I created a flow in Power Automate. It is called "Create Order". The flow looks like this: A user creates an order in my SharePoint list "Create Order". He also provides his information, such as company details, items, etc. After that, my flow creates a Word document based on a Word document template. Later, this document is also converted to a PDF.
Now to the problem: All information is inserted into the word document via quick entry blocks. For example, under one quick block "Items", all items that were entered under the orders are entered. BUT this is not done with paragraphs separating the information, so it looks like (1. Article 2. Article 3. ARTICLE) instead of:

2. Article
3. Article
Is there a function to separate the information with paragraphs or another solution?

Wow. Creates a auper simple flow with Copilot. Created fliw is full of errors and host does NOT choose to fix it with copilot. Not a great endorsement for Copilot at all. Should be titled "Why Copilot causes extra effort through errors and confusion."
