Happy 50th anniversary to this song, it was released this time in 1974! (It’s April 1974 as I post this comment.) This song of course is the cover version of Little Eva’s, the original released 12 years prior (which made top ten songs of 1962), and this version made the top ten of 1974, as well as Sweet Home Alabama by Lynryd Skynryd, Come and Get your love(Redbone), Bennie and the Jets(Elton John), and Rock On(David Essex). May it live on for another 50 years!!!
