Minecraft NON EUCLIDEAN House!

This Non Euclidean Minecraft mod will blow your mind! I sure blew mine, and I'm super excited to work with it more! I don't usually play with mods, but this has got to be one of the best Minecraft Mods 1.16.5 has produced as far as I can tell. Plot twist: the house was secretly a tardis and is disguised as a small shack and the entrance doesn’t lead to the console room.

You can expand upon this in several ways. One way, you'll need to experience the Confusion Ending of The Stanley Parable for inspiration. Like there's a few things in that ending that you can add thanks to this mod. Another is using scale to your advantage make a fancier version of rooms like a bedroom and since the portal can make you bigger the room will appear normal to players but you will know better. Maybe add a better moving mod so that you can lay on the fake bed you built. And thanks to the scaling up you can get creative with what kind of bed you build, even doing a regal canopy bed or a bunk bed or use a modified wave machine to create the feel of a water bed! If you don't get what I mean, there's adventure maps that have giant rooms/houses you play through, and with this mod you can have the feel of the giant rooms being normal sized. Or use the inverse to trick them into thinking that the normal sized greenhouse garden is giant!

I built a TARDIS with that mod. 1Lx1Wx2H, Bits and Chisels microblocks of blue, white, and black concrete to build the police box body, and then dug to about bedrock (or should I say obsidian, because I have dimension stacking turned on and have the config option to make the bedrock into obsidian) and built a big chamber modeled after a TARDIS control room (specifically a mashup of the 7th/8th and the 11th/12th using bronze (from one of the tech mods) and iron blocks plus glass in the floor to see the 'maintenance section' underneath (which, since I didn't get up to any tech stuff yet, was just a portal room between the TARDIS and the End, Nether, Fraiya from the Lint2 mod, and undecided what the fourth portal is going to be).

You could make it so they are live screens. Aka, have a sky roof, but you can go up some stairs, and have the practicality of a 2nd floor on top. Or allow yourself to have just slightly bigger areas than is expected. Like your hallways only go for like 3 blocks, but you travel for 20. And the room you go into can allow you to be in the same space where the house should be. You can go 90 degrees, and end in a different place.

This mod is awesome with the chisels and bits mod. A friend of mine has a server we play on with the immersive portals mod and a few other mods (c&b included) and its a lot of fun building things!

You can adjust the position of portals to make them appear on the edge of blocks instead of the middle, so you can make the 3x3 entrance work

Tip: turn off smooth lighting and either light everything up or put on night vision. That’s because at portals, if one side is bright and the other is dark, it’ll look weird and break the illusion.
