Recursion and Microblocks in Non Euclidean Minecraft!

Welcome back, everyone! Today, in Non Euclidean Minecraft, I present to you an Immersive Portals Mod tutorial of sorts; to produce a recursion effect that I've seen all over the internet lately. With this new discovery, this mod proves even more why in my opinion it's one of the best Minecraft mods 1.16.5 has to offer. I can only imagine what else I have yet to learn about it!

some tips: make teleport changes scale be false so you don't glitch out when going through portals, it's a bit confusing but basically what it does is if you go into a small scaled box view you'll still be the same size relative to it, it's like the size changing portals.
also use /portal debug align to align yourself with the block you're on!

Something related but also unrelated - Might I suggest checking out "Recursed"? It's a bit of an old puzzle platformer game about chests in chests in chests in *_no_*
Basically, it's about rooms connected to each other via chests. It starts off pretty simple, but _hoo boi_ it starts to really screw with your head after a bit, and with some later mechanics, maybe even a little...

I had this idea the other day for an immersive portals building challenge, where you have a space of like 10x10, or 20x20, and you gotta build the biggest apparent puzzle/maze, so using portals efficiently and seamlessly to make it seem like there's more corridors, and spaces, and walkways etc. but it's actually a small compact area, and see who performs the best and tricks the illusion of space the best.

i've always wanted to see someone use this mechanic to make something like a terrarium. it's always models and recursion and stuff, but you could slice a small village out of the world and just keep in on your desk and just watch the miniature villagers farm and stuff.
