Woman locked out of Chase bank account not alone

Karen Krader had been getting her unemployment check directly deposited into her Chase bank account since she was laid off from her office job in February.

She had no issues until her daughter tried to buy food at the grocery store last week and her card, tied to Krader's account, was declined.

Time to boycott Chase and go to another banking institution that has there act together.

Yes im locked out from my account today. I wanted to withdraw some fiat and it will not give me access to my childrens child support funds. I called but no one answers the call.

My chase account is locked due to a mistake that I did (favor for my brother) and I explained to the banker everything that happened. They told me they need proof that I’ve been receiving unemployment for them to unlock it. Today makes a week that I haven’t been able to touch my money.

This is happening to me right now, as of last Tuesday 11/30. Although mine isn’t unemployment related, but they won’t tell me the reason or give me access to my money, should I file a police report against chase? #heydan

Don't bank with Chase. They're crooked over there.

Other banks do this as well. It's usually 7 to 10 business days.
