Thoughts on the fireplace: leave the natural brick. Have a mural or some sort of architectural statement added to the rectangular inlaid section for a statement.

And, hear me out, I think the “trash chute” cabinet in your bathroom might be for a dirty clothes hamper?

I’m sure you have been giving a ton of advice but one advice that I wished we listened to is do not by a lot / expensive clothes until they are much older ❤ both our children out grew clothes very fast. Absolutely love you two and you have helped me get through extremely difficult times just by watching your videos 🥰 oh, also do not buy a lot of just one size of diapers 😅

High ceilings are great for aesthetics and the open feel but what I've come to realize is the difficulty cleaning the thing. You're either going to have to hire someone or do it yourself. Good luck with doing it yourself.
