Surprised my hometown of Stow, Massachusetts wasn't on this list. We once had someone jaywalk. Scary stuff

Getting trampled by a moose is a real fear here in Alaska. 2 days ago on my walk I got between a calf and it's mother on my jog. Had to go all the way across the road and up the hill before I stopped getting the old "death stare".

As an Alaskan. Kotzbue Alaska is insanely dangerous. I believe it also had the FBI in Kotzbue more times than in anywhere else. It’s so bad there id never visit.

Ok
The old woman throwing rocks and cursing in Henderson NC...that one don't count. We're kind of like our crazies in the south and tend to just "look the other way" about them. 😁

I think Biggs is the best for these types of lists. As far as odd dry towns, Lynchburg, Tennessee has a bit less than 6, 500 people. It is located in Moore county which is “dry”. It’s also where Jack Daniel’s is made. JD distillery can sell it’s products in their own gift shop (commemorative only); however, it still cannot be consumed within the county.

I'm from Massachusetts, 20 minutes north of Boston in a nice suburb. When you said you were in Lynn, I literally went "WHAT?!" two seconds before you did haha. In MA, people refer to Lynn as "Lynn Lynn, the city of sin, you never come out, the way you went in". Place is badddd

This intro is the best by far. I liked the sarcastic over-plugging your handles and the banter. 👍🏽

I was born in Lumberton, NC (left when I was a baby) and the whole county of Robeson is rife with crime. Back in the 1700's what became Lumberton was called Scuffletown.

Midsomer never seems to run out of offenders for a small town! Barnaby needs a raise.

The town of Lynchburg Tennessee, the place where the Jack Daniel's Distillery is located, where they make probably the most famous whiskey in the world, is in a dry County ( Moore County) . You cannot buy it where they make it .

Hey from the USA! I enjoy watching you blokes being blokes. All that you're missing is a pint of room temperature larger. Please react to the Keye and Peele sketch known as "Consequences". It's hilarious and on point. Much love from a true Jamerican🇯🇲🇺🇸!

Dry and Damp towns are holdovers from Prohibition. Even the state of Pennsylvania just started selling alcohol in grocery stores just a couple years ago. Before that- you had to travel to separate beer and liquor stores across town and they usually closed early on Sundays so you had to stock up for sports games!

In Alaska, there are many native areas which outlaw alcohol due to the high alcoholism rates. Fun fact: The county in Tennessee where Jack Daniel's Whisky is produced is a dry county. This means all alcohol is illegal in that county. Jack Daniel's had to get a governmental exemption to sell their whisky on their property. You can buy and drink whisky while at the plant, but cannot open the alcohol you bought until you cross into another wet county where alcohol is legal.

Wet means alcohol can be bought and consumed in that town
Moist or damp means alcohol can be consumed but not purchased in that town.
Dry means all alcohol is illegal

There are more towns and areas with these strict alcohol law than you think. There are common in the south, but some are located in the north as well. Most native areas and Indian reservations are indeed dry places.

2 towns in my home state, and an honorable dry county mention with Dollywood. I wasn't aware Pigeon Forge doesn't allow alcohol. My first visit there was in the early 80's when it was called Silver Dollar City.

Back in the early 90s we were travelling from YK NWT to Iqaluit in a small cargo plane and had to land in several dry communities to refuel. In one of them a colleague traded a bottle of liquor for a narwhale tusk. We we were on the ground for under two hours, but were lucky to get away with our lives. Once the bottle was empty the residents of the town were heading out way looking for blood. A couple of rifles and a GA8 air van got us out in one piece,

That drug hub on the New Mexico border with crooked cops actually looks the most menacing to me

Since you liked "10 Cent Beer Night", you should react to "Disco Demolition Night became a fan riot set to Take Me Out to the Ball Game | The Worst" by Secret Base, about Disco Demolition Night in 1979!
