Ashford Traditional Doube Drive

Showing that the Ashford Traditional Double Drive wheel is working. I replaced the treadle with an Ashford Traditional wheel. I replaced the flyer uprights with an older version but they are Ashford Traditional parts. The wheel spins really well and is nice and quiet.

I just love the Ashford Traditional. Last year, I bought a second-hand, single drive Tradi for a few hundred bucks, and I took it to my daughter's apartment. She was spinning on an Ashford e-spinner, and had no interest in a treadle wheel... Until she tried the Ashford Traditional. She kept the wheel, and then I found more recent, convertible single to double drive. I can work with both single and double drive, but I do prefer double drive.
I think those little wheels are super cute, and quite compact for a saxony style wheel. My daughter's apartment is tiny, she doesn't even have a proper living room, yet she still manages to have room for her wheel.
