Slow is smooth
Smooth is fast
Fast is deadly

It’s important to also note that he’s hitting the middle of the face which is one of if the most significant factors in creating ball speed

Just hit my first 182 today using my friends driver. Hoping to work my swing up to a 190

Over under is what I call it. I started to do it and dropped to a 2.7 handicap from a 15+. Still going down. It allows a smoother transition and it actually slows down the transition feels like your swinging slower too. But I'm carrying 285 on average now

There is no doubt that there are many other things going on here - the technique to hit the key points to optimise his swing and the precise work with his arms and hands. And excellent ground work. All that detail, how and what he is doing, is missing here.

How do you get a tonne of speed from going into the ground? Anyone? I don't get it!

Super late/minimal wrist hinge on backswing. Am I missing something?

God I wish I could do that.. I’m missing the lag in my drop and because of that I’m swinging so hard that I’ve Punkin seeded in mah drahs

so basically because his swing is so wide he is able to step into his lead leg which allows him to gain a lot of power? am i right?

I can’t swing like that. I have been working on having the club set at or before arm’s parallel.

Different bodies need different swings.

He missed 12 out of 14 fareways in the final round in his first victory. Now obviously i just mentioned this because i dont think the former bouncer would do that often

How and when he loads his power accumulators too matters lol. Moves the grip extremely fast from 4.1-5 and then starts hitting the brakes to let club head speed up
