Is OKC The New Team To Beat?!

The NBA offseason has already seen several star players change teams, with many more still popping up in trade rumors.

But in the blood bath that is the Western Conference, the most improved team isn't the one that acquired Klay Thompson, DeMar DeRozan, Dejounte Murray, or Chris Paul.

It's the first-place team that added ... Alex Caruso and Isaiah Hartenstein.

Hartenstein is a stud. Knicks lost a leg trading him

They’re gonna be difficult to beat if they don’t shoot 25% from 3 for an entire series

OKC is the favourite to retain their number one seed in the West, maybe even get to 58 to 60 wins. I still think their secondary shot creation isn't good enough deep in the playoffs though. Shai was great but J-Dub looked overwhelmed.

Perhaps the best reason OKC will be better is not the two new players (though that should certainly help), but the fact that everyone has another year of experience.

take these upcomming picks (unless OKC somehow gets the #1 and Cooper Flagg) and trade them for future number one picks. kick them down the road and keep doing that until they need to use them again.

They got the 1st seed without iHart and Caruso. Now with those two the top seed is basically secured now. At minimum they'll be in the conference finals. I just can't see it any other way. Their biggest competition now is the Mavs. I honestly can't see any team in the west having a chance against them.

Bulls crazy for not plucking a pick for Caruso

Coach of the year, MVP, rookie of the year and defensive player of the year all on the same team.

I don't think they will have the same chemistry they had last year as mixing young and old players does not always have good chemistry

OKC gets 1st seed again and 2nd round exit again. Gotta see it to believe it as far as championship aspirations r concerned.

Okc the new Celtics (JT & JB)
If there are no injuries it's only a matter of time b4 they win
They need a few experienced players to toughen up the young pups
Uncle Jeff would be a good addition

Should’ve draft Kel’le Ware over Topic, would’ve been an insane front court

OKC will never win the finals, they are inexperienced and also remember the curse of the Sonics
