Tanking has reached a new low despite the NBA trying several things to solve the problem. This is a look at the creative new way teams are losing games and what the league can do next.

You think tanking is a problem, imagine being a fan of a team, that you want to tank, and they keep winning. This always happens with the freakin' Raptors.

I like what the Professional Women's Hockey Leagues does. once a team is mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, it begins earning “draft order points” in all subsequent games using the league's standard 3 points for a win in regulation, 2 points for a win in overtime, 1 point for a loss in overtime. Team with the most "draft order points" at the end of the season picks first. This gives teams a reason to keep fighting for wins. The worst teams will be mathematically eliminated first so they will have more games left to earn draft points than a team that just barely misses the playoffs.

You forgot to mention that the Raptors keep winning, even with the g-league guys they're putting in. It's unfair to trash them for tanking, and not mention that they are actually winning games with their g-league guys.

You seriously started with the Raptors when the Jazz, Sixers, Wizards and Nets are right there and actually actively tanking? Raptors are 8-6 in March.

The Raps beat Utah twice in March and are 8-5 in the month with 3 of the losses being very close. Their record is due to a horrible start because of injuries.

In the rest of the world, the problem is solved: there's another league, of somewhat lower quality. Every year, the champion of that league moves up to the first division, while the loser drops to the second. Whoever moves up should have a better chance in the draft

raptors have won 5 of the last ten games. there are teams that deserve to be called out for tanking, but the raptors aren't at the top of the list, and I'm getting a little frusterated when I see channels trying to make them the face of tanking. The argument is just not in good-faith, and the facts don't support it.... this guy's cherry-picking and its unfortunate. I used to enjoy his inflammatory review style. perhaps I'm just growing up. i'll look for better basketball channels

I am tiring big time with the NBA. Every year March Madness comes around I realize how fun basketball can be to watch. Then it's over and the NBA just seems so inferior to the competitiveness and excitement of MM.

I think the lottery tournament is a terrible idea, because the team that actually needs the help of a number 1 pick will get eliminated early, making the entire idea go against the purpose of it
