In the US you could possibly survive if you lay flat and have the cars pass over you. However, if the locomotive passes over you the snow plow would likely kill you. If not then the fuel tanks would do it. In this country, the height of an average main line rail is about 4 to 6 inches. The snow plow and fuel tanks are 2 1/2 inches above the railhead giving you a clearance of 6 to 8 1/2 inches.

The problem is if you do this in the UK The tracks are electric so you'd be dead by the time you step on the tracks and the trains are electric so you'd be killed instantly when the train hits your ass and when stepping on tracks so DONT DO IT

Ive tried that, except im only abot 15 inches off the ground, so im good. If you axe down the horizontal slats on the track, then dug down a few inches, its deep enough to be relevantly safe ig. and DO NOT lift your head, or hands, or shift your arms. Shifting your arms could make them press against the side, and the train would hig the sides. Depending on how long the train is, by the time it ends, you would have lost alot of blood.
