3:35 “ryzen 3700x and 3800x 8 cores 12 threads”... I thought I heard that wrong so I played it twice.

Why do all gaming clips feature people using controllers that aren't turned on? Or pressing buttons in no fashion that even a novice gamer would use? It's so cringey lol. Loved the video and definitely appreciate the knowledge on the CPU's so thank you for that. Just pick gamers next time actually using a controller 😂😂✌🏿

I mean the ryzen 5 2600 is still a steal now a days too. It's definitely no where near the 3600 but its a bang for your buck cpu for sure

At 1:59 you say "Intel i9 9600k" I'm guessing you mean i5 9600k. But I wanted to point it out, just because it confused me for a second

I would say the 3800X because of the higher clock speeds and now it’s only a $40 difference because of the holidays.

I have ryzen 7 2700 X paired with Crosshair hero 7 motherboard. Asus 1070ti 8gb ASUS strix graphic card. 32GB G.Skill Flare x 3200hz, Cool Master ML240L. 250gb ssd, 1tb M.2 for storage . 7 fans to keep it cool. All power by Corsair CX550M. LOL. But I am very happy with the built. My first computer built. Thank you for your helpful Videos.

Great video. Just noticed though at around 3:30 when you cover the Ryzen 3700x and above you stated these were “8 core 12 thread CPUs” which is think you meant to say 16 threads. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Keep up the good work!

To clarify on the 3600x and 3800x variants, you’re paying for high clock speed and better binned chip which means theoretically you can achieve higher clock speeds whilst overcolcking compared to the non x variant(3600)/also applies to 3800x v 3700x. You aren’t gaining massively in performance with these ryzen chips just a few % FPS in certain titles if you can achieve solid overclocks this is due to the new chips being more aggressively clocked out of the box. Good luck playing the silicon lottery!

I only considered the 2200g and 3400g for my APU build. I went with the 2200g because the price dropped to $59.99 for a couple of days. My first upgrade will be to either a used Radeon RX 580 or a new Radeon RX 590. After that, I will replace the 2200g, with either a 2700X or a 3600. Eventually I will upgrade to a 3950, but might upgrade to an RDNA card with ray tracing hardware first.

In my opinion, neither the 2400g nor the 3200g are worth considering at current pricing.

Heard the x ryzen have the ability to overclock automaticly when needed. And with better results than manual overclock. You forgot to mention.
