"Start every single morning." For a daily driver that's a good thing.

All those 70's trucks were like that. Immortal. My '78 Ford was beyond tired. The bearings were so worn that it had 4 psi of oil pressure at highway speed. Ran it like that with 20w50 for years.

Right there with you buddy, I daily a 1982 Malibu Classic with the 229 v6. It leaks and has carb issues but runs everyday. Love my old chevy.

I drove a 76 Silverado step side for years starting in the early 2000s up till the mid 2010s. It was a rock solid truck and always started right up no matter how cold it was in MN. To this day it was one of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned. I wish I never sold it.

Hell yeah!! But that goes for a lot of older trucks with good plugs, coil and a half-assed carb. Good battery too. Lol

My 98 F150 4.6 started every morning and drove two hours a day on only 6 out of 8 cylinders, basically no brakes, no heat/ac, leaky injector, and a bad solenoid that needed a few hammer wacks to get her to turn over. The stress of trying to accelerate up the bridge without blowing the engine and then actually stopping with 100+ brake pumps on the way down definitely took years off of my life, but I still called her ol' reliable. That thing did thousands of donuts in the snow and went deeper than most offroad. Got me through a couple years out of high school and now I have reliable trucks and trailers but I miss that beast for sure.

For real! I know mines not as old. But my 99 Lincoln never fails to start. Always got cold air and hot air on demand. And feels like a couch on wheels riding a cloud lol

My first Truck. 1984 Gmc Reg Cab Long bed 4 wheel drive. 305/700r4 2 tone blue and silver. auto windows and locks. Dual 20 gal tanks.

That was about 1995 or so. I put a high country 3 inch lift
33x12.50 BFG Mud terrains
15x8 American Racing outlaw 2's
It transformed it from stock Grandpa truck to bad azz real quick.
Also I must note even with me being rough on it. It never left me stranded. It was a very reliable truck.
