Best Chinese Food in San Diego is easy to come by. There is a great Chinese restaurant scene in the city, especially around the Convoy street area.

We start at Qin West for traditional Chinese noodles and appetizer dishes, and then we try a Chinese hotpot called Haidilao hot pot.

Haidilao was founded in Jianyang, Sichuan in 1994, and it has since grown to become China's largest hot pot chain.

Born and raised in SD here! Im a huge foodie especially for Asian food and have tried literally every restaurant on Convoy multiple times. If you're looking for authentic Chinese, Spicy City (well known for their mala numbing peppercorn taste) has been a classic that's stuck around since I was a kid. A couple of my other favorite spots are Village Kitchen (kind of hole in the wall) and Taste of Hong Kong (BBQ Duck is mouth watering here). I'd love to share more insight with you if you're into Asian food in SD! Was so happy you made a video on the Asian food scene here since it's been really taking off the last couple years and needs more spotlight. AMAZING!!! Dinner and a show. Use code words and you get prizes. What a place!!!! I've had hot pot, but not like that. When I visit San Diego, I will bring friends with me to that place. It seems going there is an event. I will eat the duck head. In French cooking, eating the head of Quails and other cooked critters is part of the dinner.
