Merge Tables in Word Horizontally (2020)

Thank you for the video. Where the table sizes are not identical; say top table has 4 columns & the second table has 3 columns, and overall width of the tables are different. How do you align the left & right edges of the newly combined table?

It really works after you deactivate the text-wrapping as told in the video and delete paragraph marks in between the two tables.

Doing that only works, when the two to-be-merged tables are in sum no longer than one pages and when I want to pull the top line to merge them the downmark-column-mark arrow appears, no matter which hight or position I try to pull, do I have to press another button for it to work?
