We can't sell vehicles this way...

One of the biggest things you need to sell vehicles is lights. Our lot doesn't have lights and now with daylight savings time ending it's dark early and our business is dead. So, I have to install bright LED lights so people will want to come to our lot and buy vehicles.

Kind of had me nervous with the amount of lean you had on that ladder! Was waiting for it to slide out from under you! 😳

The only consideration about lights of that type and price range is you may have to replace them after a couple of years - while a couple times more expensive the higher quality ones last much longer and you'll only have to "cry" once. I really enjoy watching the business improvements and your journey of making on your own! And yes, I'd check with your neighbor to see if the brightness is an issue - the last thing you want is someone complaining to the city / local council and making any future permits a difficult affair. With other commercial business in the area it may not be a concern....

On my small town new car dealership 20 years ago I paid the power company to put up lights on their polls and they charged me a flat rate for electrical since there was no meter attached to my building for their pole. That would better light up your front lot.

4 to 1 rule on the ladder for safety. You were at about 45 degrees. Should be 75. Great lights though.

Put one or two elevated on roof on a pole and point down towards cars. We did that at our country home and that stopped the “halt” we have you under our spot lights effect! Does the job however. The light on poles on roof pointed down takes away the interrogation angle of your current lights. Some cities have ordinances against and they do make the pointed down lights to help “light pollution.” Try the 2 pole 6’ poles with lights pointing down you’ll be very happy with those

Definitely do not use that angle with an extension ladder. Other than that light looks awesome

New lights look good. Just a note - if you're going to fly the flag at night then you need a dedicated light at the base of the pole to illuminate the flag. Reference US Flag Code.

Watch the lighting on your sign at the top in the front. You want that to be visible from a brand perspective.

Hello Chevy Dude. I agree that it's time to get ready for the long winter nights. I'm glad that your lot is more secure at night now that you have better lighting.

you can get more out each light if you raise them up atleast 15 to 20 feet more above the building, if your city code allowes it, in so cases if it doesn't you can still apply for approval by raising the lights the way they want you to do It, government always making the possible impossible.

Haha ask the dogs who did it? The lights are really cool. Can't wait to see the new doors installed and how solid the old framing is.
