I can see getting called to HR. "We ran a credit check and found that you opened a new Capitol One Visa. I'm sorry. Please clean out your desk and we will escort you out."

Literally just set values for a company I joined about 3 months ago.

1 person got fired.
3 people got raises.
2 of them got promotions.

Clients and staff are all happy.

People live up to expectations or down to what is tolerated.

Having worked for an American corporation, I have seen more culture at the back of a clean fridge. Maybe it's just me, though.

This is so so very very important. That is what make you love to work for a company and it is not just a pay check. Everyone knows what is expected. Thank you.❤

Go through your core values at the interview so we don’t waste each other’s time. Also, in my experience, company’s core values don’t always translate to reality. And sometimes they are not mutually beneficial so you just need to put up or move on.

Worked for a company where they brought in a new state manager. Within 18 months about 10 store managers and 3 area managers were either fired for dumb reasons or left voluntarily (myself included) because he turned it into the "Tim" show. He got the boot not long after I left too.

Exactly. Too many think they know better than the already successful company/person hiring them.

I remember getting offered a job in another department of a business and was One of the best places to work and Lear from

Remember years later moving our avionics repairs to them because I knew how down to earth it was.

It was kinda like MASH 4077 in some ways lots of different people Turing out aircraft after installing bigger engines and 4 blade Q tip props.

And at times a full avionics update from KFC 200 auto pilot and King Silver crown avionics to on the King 950 HF .

Was a place of learning and fun. At times a little hard work but not that bad

Who we are is nice.

Just as long as people know who they are and do the best they can for the customer.

This is why onboarding is important. By the time you’re on the floor working, you know what to expect out of your job and your peers. I had a job with a month long classroom training and onboarding before I even met my coworkers.

What an honor it would be to work for you.

I don't disagree, but the "core values" of most companies are mostly BS. It's all the same everywhere you go and they don't give a shit about them.

1. Integrity - Nepotism everywhere
2. Respect - lol ok
3. Innovation - You mean buying other companies?
4. Excellence - Tell that to the manager that does absolutely nothing
5. Customer Focus - cares more about their cash cow customers than their actual employees.
6. Accountability - just no
7. Teamwork - if you mean one person does the work of the whole team then yes
8. Sustainability - maybe, but most likely not
9. Diversity and Inclusion - This one is actually true
10. Social Responsibility - hahahahahahah

The leadership of a company chooses the culture of a business. While some take it personally, the cultural values of a business are not chosen to be offensive, rather they are chosen to be structural in the business. If a carpenter needs a 2x12 beam above an opening he goes and finds it, not to offend the 2x4's, but to effectively support what is above it. Using a 2x4 in that place would be negligent on the part of the buider.

This is how it should be. Sick of people showing up and trying to change everything
