I am so happy that Sweetwater is now selling Strandbergs. I hope this is the beginning of a long, loving relationship between you two <3

Thank you SW / DD / AV folks! Fantastic review, Dave. It seems to me that the fanned fret setup on these necks is more subtle than what I have noticed on other guitars. And I mean this in a great way. Perhaps something I could acclimate toward having come from years of using standard fretted gits. But the paradigm shift award goes to Strandberg on that neck profile and joint - bravo! Thank you again - cheers!

Fanned frets/multi scale has nothing to do with intonation really. It's about string tension. Poor intonation on guitar is causedby the straightness of the frets. True temperament frets are squiggly and produced perfect intonation.

The fact that a guitar is multiscale still doesn't mean it'll automatically have better intonation than a standard scale instrument. You will feel an improvement in string tension overall.

Great job giving an overview of these unusual but very attractive instruments. Also enjoyed the great playing and thorough knowledge delivered confidently and humbly. Well done.

How did you go from making acoustic delay w/ Rob Scallon to demoing for .Strandberg* guitars?!??

And they sound good too without all that distortion. Who knew?

Lol it's so crazy how powerful the REVV G series pedals are. I own a G3, you just made me order the G2. Sounds incredible mate! 🤘 Great playing

Man. The section of the multi scale had a lot of misinformation.

What kind of stands did you have all of the .strandberg*s displayed on?

I hate when reviewers toss around adjectives without much thought. "Ash plus maple equals a bright yet lively guitar". You should have went with "bright and lively" or "bright yet [something opposite]".

I appreciate the good overview. But what about the prog and fusion? I'm just looking for a quick sound comparison (with pickup info) on the original, classic, standard, prog, fusion and metal versions.
