Strandberg guitars are odd, and so I get a lot of questions about my instrument of choice. In this video I talk about why it doesn’t have a headstock, how to tune it, and I talk about its unique EndurNeck profile. I also get into why I chose the Strandberg Boden Prog 7 and how it became my favourite guitar.

Having tried out a few Strandbergs, they almost feel a little too light and easy to play. I'm pretty sure I could get used to them pretty fast.

Great job, lifetime player here with a bunch of back injuries and hand injuries I had to put the guitar down for 6-7 months. I’m really in desperate need of a comfortable machine. Thanks for the the input

I used to own a Steinberger and I chose that based on the headless nature of the instrument. I once played a peavey guitar whose maple neck was so heavy I spent the entire gig preventing it from creating a black hole.

20 years ago I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Parker Mojo, mahogany body, carbon fibre enforced neck and it's light and well balanced and pretty much the best guitar I have ever played. The Stranbergs look very appealing but I am no longer in the buying market and I am not one to constantly chop and change instruments. All my instruments are between 20 and 35 years old and I am happy with them all.

Thanks for your sharing. I'm a fan of headless guitars and Strandberg guitars are really great IMHO and their qualities and features are undisputable. But, when Ibanez presented the Q Series and I had the chance of trying one of them I literally fell in love with them. Most probably a Q54 will be my next guitar.

i’m considering getting one as a preventative measure for RSI. I already developed RSI from playing Osu as a teenager i’m good on getting it again as an adult playing guitar.

Ibanez RG550 is the peak of what a guitar needs to be for me. There have been improvements and modern features to come out since, but I'm just THRILLED every time I pick one up and I love the feel of everything about it. .
