The main reason why our air force picked ATAK due to low operation cost. They say why spend more if they can achieve the same mission though. At the same time if we choose the American helos we can only get around 2-4 helos, so they choose 6 rather than few but combat proven ones.

Yes we bought it for numerous reason but the fact is we bought the turkish atak cause the turkish government just going to deliver them right away and its brand new rather than the apache longbows they will give you a second hand and the unreliable one and very late for delivery
