A lot of the fossils were lost during the Bone Wars between a few palaeontologists. What a pity that a dispute between few men ended up destroying history for good. They literally blew up new sites with dynamite, just so that the others could not discover anything.

You have to think of the world at those times. The earth was warm all the time, covered with plants growing at a tremendous rate that even all these plant eaters could not even keep up. Ferns were as high as trees, some grasses morphed into tree like plants and still we have some of the alive today. Growth rate were astounding, grow fast, grow big, die and their seed sprouted and started all over again for millions of years over and over again like it was never going to end, but hen it did.

I cannot imagine how fascinating it would be to witness a gigantic beast such as Argentinosaurus walk by your building while you watch from the third floor, shaking the ground in the process!!

As for the T-Rex, it was and still remains one of the most imposing Dinosaurs ever, it was basically a Tank of a Dinosaur, preying on other huge armored and dangerous Dinosaurs.

My favourite part of the T-Rex is that, it doesn't matter if a movie portrays it as the defeated againts another Apex Dinosaur.
Everytime comes up some information about its massive biteforce. The Rex's bite was so powerful it could shatter bones. Bones of other dinosaurs!!! Just, imagine.

Where I’m from we have a good number of snapping turtles, usually they’re about the size of a large frying pan, but every now and then you run into one about two to three times the size of the others. I doubt we’ve found the biggest members of any of the species in this video.

I have read that huge powerful dinosaurs usually picked on the young of other dinosaurs, which were easier to defeat. If a big predator was injured, it might not be able to catch anything to eat. Posts like this seem to concentrate on big dinosaurs fighting other big ones, but apparently they did not do that. They were bullies who picked on the easiest booty in order to protect themselves from fatal injuries.

Still, the Blue whale is much larger in weight than any of these ancient titans, weighting up to 170 metric tons. That's well over double the weight of a Brachiosaurus or Titanosaur.
Blue whale can also be up to 26 meters long, so it's pretty huge in that measurement as well.
