Why doesn't it have a latch for the lid? A latch is an extremely inexpensive thing to add that would increase its ice retention. Saying that a bunji cord to hold the lid closed is not included makes me wonder what other corners were cut.

Why did you cut the part where its about to roll on the sand? Did it get stuck thats why?

I'll trade the bottle opener for some more storage, there's nowhere in the US at parks and beaches where they'll allow glass bottles

Screw on wire pulls through the plastic lid way to easily

I bought this cooler thinking ot would be a durable functional cooler. I only used it twice before the screw holding the cover tore off. Without the wire holding it from opening 90° the hinge holding the cover becomes dislodged. It's also too tall to fit in my 2500 HD Silverado pickup bed with the Tonneau cover closed. When I looked in the hole where the screw was holding the wire it had no insulation. The entire design was flimsy and not durable. The Yeti cooler with wheels is durable and the perfect height for the pickup bed.

The cooler costs an average of $275 and is not worth it. Its just a regular ice chest with big plastic wheels. You can easily just buy a $40 sport wagon( the ones with big plastic wheels) and put your regular $20 ice chest in it. No one cares about the bottle opener, or the useless tray or the dry pocket feature, No one will leave their phones or keys in that dry pocket.
