Igloo Trailmate Cooler Review -70 Quart Rolling Cooler
Показать описание
The first test we put the Igloo Trailmate through was an Ice Retention test. The Igloo Trailmate 70qt advertised 4 days of ice retention on the front of the cooler. In our testing, the Trailmate SMASHED this number with an impressive 8 days of ice retention. The lid of the cooler was over 100° F every day. Of course this was with the cooler filled to capacity with ice, so some may experience lower ice retention. Nonetheless, this is a very solid cooler for holding ice.
Many of our viewers also wanted to see how well coolers rolled over various terrain. Rolling across different surfaces is really where the Trailmate shined. The Trailmate was the largest wheeled cooler that we tested and it just so happened to be the easiest cooler to roll. The most impressive part was when we rolled the Trailmate through sand. Many of the smaller wheeled coolers bottom out/bogged down in the sand and the Trailmate rolled on. The Igloo handled sand way better than we initially thought, especially considering the cooler was full of ice/water during the test.
Aside from stellar ice and rolling performance, the Trailmate is packed with features and accessories. For what it's worth, this was the cooler that turned the most heads among our friends and family member during a 25+ cooler test. The reason it turns heads is because it looks completely different from roto molded coolers or even budget cooler. It also comes with several outdoor storage areas, dual bottle openers and ROD HOLDERS. Therefore, we are calling this the perfect beach cooler or cooler for surf fishing.
