Pro tip: you can take prediction out of the high ground/low ground skillshot debate. The cursor projects the actual spot where the skillshot will hit with a little target mark. You can see the target mark at the video specifically during the part of this short where nidalee is aiming her spear. The target shifts depending on whether you're on high or low ground. It's very useful when you want to know exactly where your skill shot will land in the river.

Another reason is your hitbox extends beyond your body. It's that white circle around your feet when you press and hold Space. So when dodging you need to make sure that the hitbox is also outside not just your feet/body.

funfact: its this way to balance the fact how the map is designed, it never got mentioned in league or by riot couse it was some dota change from icefrog and they just implemented it.

Pro tip: play aram in order to not experience the low ground high ground bs.

Youll still experience general hitbox bs regardless since league is a great game.
