This is why Louis Vuitton, Gucci type of designer brands always gift their clothing, and purses to celebrities and famous people to wear for free advertisements to the middle to lower class people.

You have to take this into consideration.
You pay the designers, investors, advertising, retail spaces, wages, fashion shows, events, professional marketers, lawyers, accountants, productions,
And many more that add up to the cost of having a well known, established brand.

Dealt with many factories like this. They'll tell your $30 x 50 MOQ but when it comes time to order it's $59 USD because of this customization or that, you gotta get it in their colors or whatever if you want that original price. But if you have a market then it doesn't really matter because you could sell a plain sweater like that for over $100.

Another thing people forget if your buying designer items like prada gucci et al becuase they dont actually mnanufacture the product its not the same as back in the old days like the 70's when designer brands actually made their own clothes, so these days your spending hundreds for a non designer item as its made in china by people who have nothing to do with Gucci prada dior etxc..
