I noticed this at the age of 20, companies like Gucci and Louis Vuitton will sell tee shirts and jeans and it wasn't worth it even the boots and shoes is trash. You can got to independent boot makers and get custom made boots and shoes for 275 - 500 way better quality

I never understood why anyone would buy designer cz it always felt like a rip off, but then I came across isse miyake pleated trousers and I was speechless. They’re 600 dollars but they are the most beautiful and exquisite pair trousers I have ever seen. That’s when I realised “WHY” you buy designer. I’m not rich enough to afford designer rn but now I do plan to.

I agree about the basics like sweats. The quality brands that specialize in it like Reigning Champ and John Elliott make amazing products that are comfy and high quality

Watches and fragrances too.
Lowkey though the fragrances are decent smelling and they are pretty accessible to purchase (ie you can cop a Versace EDP for less than a bill and it can last you a few months to over a year).
That being lot of fashion designers don’t put that much effort into fragrances.
