This Clary, or Dark Clary is 1000 if not 100 times better than the "good girl" Clary we've been watching the whole series. For one simple reason alone, she's actually behaving or acting like a normal person rather than some righteous warrior who simply want to put away any one related to her because they have done some bad things. Katherine McNamara's latest comments confirm that Clary's always had darkness in her, and she is a Morgenstern at core. So if the bonding rune have anything to do with her current behavior, it's merely bring out to what's already inside, and it is so wonderful!!! More importantly this episode shows that Clary is NOT some robotic Barbie doll mind-controlled to do her brother's bidding, she wants both her brother and lover with her like any normal person would in her position. I hope in the end if the team really cares for Clary, they will favor in helping Johnathon reform rather just just getting rid of him.
