Got an 04 Super Glide FXD/I w, screaming eagle II exhaust and stage 1 Arlen Ness air cleaner kit, w/ no no other engine mods, 4th owner, weekend warrior, but loooking into some real "first timer" engine mods. What's your opinion on upgrading the cam chain tensioners on these early model dynas, is it always necessary?

Little late to seeing this, but would let you know, heat shields on this exhaust should fit early dyna. I have a 99 with the black el Diablo. Drilled the bracket to fit the 5 speed tranny, but all the shields will fit. My guess is frame is the problem
