I'm not trying to be combative. I just want to point out that Shuhua changed her hair to fit the concept and that Soyeon had another concept on backup in case Shuhua absolutely didn't want to do it. She didn't do it for netizens, she did it for her group.

I have friends who never bleached nor dyed their hair and it still never was bouncy nor shiny. Some people just have different hair texture (e.g., frizzy or very thin or very few hair) and only strong hair sprays and gels applied by stylists will make it look "healthy".

But otherwise her hair looks thick and not split ends, even at their usual/normal length. So idk about damage.
I know damage is a possibility, but there are hair dyes which don't last long BUT are way gentler on hair (compared to dyes that last longer while destroying hair faster).
Could explain why she needs 3 touch ups per week or something.
She does come off as that kinda person who is cautious about their decisions.
